The IDC-IMAQ is a non-profit organization of doctors of Indian origin working in the State of Qatar. We are affiliated to Indian Business & Professional Council (IBPC) under the aegis of Embassy of India to State of Qatar

The IMA Qatar Chapter was formed on the 14th of May 1999

We are affiliated to the Indian Cultural Centre Qatar, a body under the aegis of the Embassy of India at Qatar. We have been affiliated to the I.C.C since the year 2000.
And affiliated to Indian Business & Professional Council-IBPC a body under the aegis of The Embassy of India, Qatar. We have been affiliated to the IBPC since the year 2018.

Any Medical or Dental doctor from India or of Indian origin living or working in Qatar and practicing modern medicine/dentistry is eligible to join.

Membership forms can be filled from the website or contact us.


The Association collects only nominal subscription fees, in order to meet the expenses incurred. These are kept to the minimum possible, for functioning of the office, as we are essentially a not for profit organization. The fees will be used in renewal of our affiliation, CME activities, Sports and Cultural Activities, Charitable activities, office stationary, office secretarial assistance, etc. Membership fees is found in the join us page and may be revised periodically. You can also contact the Hon Treasurer/Finance Secretary for the current fees. All fees are per annum.

A member who keeps his/her annual subscription to the association updated without a break is termed as regular member; such a member requires only renewing his membership fee annually.

A member who has not renewed his subscription for more than a year may need to rejoin the doctors club and association as a new member.

Renewals and admission fees can be paid at the venue of a CME meeting to the Hon Treasurer or IMA office secretary. Fees may also be paid to any of the contact liaisons listed under membership contacts. However,in such a case ,receipts would be handed over only at the next CME meet.
